About Dr. Angie

Dr. Angela L. Gonzales (Dr. Angie) is a Pediatrician, Licensed Davis® Facilitator, Licensed Davis Autism Approach® Facilitator, transformational speaker, and mother of three.

Dr. Angie received her BA in Physiology from the University of California San Diego and doctorate in medicine from Drew/UCLA School of Medicine. She went on to complete her pediatric residency at Martin Luther King Hospital in 1990, where she spent an additional year as Chief Resident teaching pediatric residents. Following her medical training, she worked in Downey, California as a General Pediatrician for 7 years, and served on multiple committees.

As Dr. Angie started building a family, she transitioned her time from working at the clinic to raising her children – trading her full-time practice for a part-time schedule and covering other physicians’ practices. It was when her youngest child started having increased difficulty in school, she decided to leave medicine all together to aid in his education.

Despite her efforts at home schooling, her son continued to experience severe learning challenges. It wasn’t until she found a Davis® Facilitator that her son excelled in school. His successes were defined by increased reading abilities, appropriate coping mechanisms, and improved self esteem and confidence. Her son’s triumphs inspired her so much that she decided to go back to work, not as a physician, but as a Licensed Davis® Facilitator.

Dr. Angie was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She resides in Riverside, CA with her husband of 33 years, her three children and four dogs.
